Meet the trainer: Valerio Zanini, CPIT, CST

Valerio Zanini is a product management trainer and consultant, passionate about creating products that customers love and developing the teams that make them a reality.

With two decades of product development experience in a variety of organizations including Capital One, Cisco, Goozex.com and others, he excels at building new products in the early stages of product innovation, where uncertainty and lack of a clear solution are the biggest challenges. He works with organizations worldwide to spark a culture of innovation and drive agile transformations.

He is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) with the Scrum Alliance and a Certified Product Innovation Trainer (CPIT) with Spark Engine.

He is the author of several books on Agile and Product Management practices, including Deliver Great Products That Customers Love, published in 2018.


Meet the trainer: Zeina Zeitouni, CPIT

Zeina Zeitouni is an Innovation Expert, and a Certified Product Innovation Trainer at Spark Engine. She has over 10 years experience running product innovation strategy in both startup and Fortune 500 environments, namely, as a Innovation Consultant at Insight Enterprises and Microsoft where she worked across various sectors including Retail, Finance, Healthcare, Government, Agriculture and Transportation.

Before consulting, Zeina worked as an innovation manager, design strategist, and product manager in various lines at Capital One, where she is acknowledged for infusing innovation, data science, and design thinking practices to launch new products. In a push to bring the science and art of product innovation together; she developed a seminar series on how to use “Design Thinking and Data Science to Solve Complex Problems” which she presented at Columbia University.

Zeina is committed to helping entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs develop new ideas that make an impact by facilitating training and accelerator programs at Spark Engine. She also serves on the strategic advisory boards of two impact-driven startups-Syntoniq and eVital.

Zeina is originally from Los Angeles, where she graduated from UCLA with a degree in International Development and Sociology, and has since acquired certifications in Co-Active Coaching, Public Relations, Executive Banking (CBA), Behavioral Design, and Design Sprint Facilitation. She spent several years doing development work in Afghanistan, Tanzania and Brazil before moving to New York in 2013 to launch her own impact investing startup.
